Hey, hey, hey Fat Albert!

Posted by
Monterey John (Hollister, CA, United States) on 12 May 2011 in Transportation and Portfolio.

Well, not that anyone likely noticed, but I have been absent from the am3 scene for awhile. The reason for that being that my attention has been foucused on my web site, right Ladybug? :) What a job that has turned out to be.

Among the features built into the site is an "Art Images" gallery. This is a gallery of images I thought to be of commerical quality. I have about 40,000 photographs from which about 60 are presently in the gallery. This is one of those images. I will post the rest of them, and more, over time.

Meet "Fat Albert." This is the support plane for the US Navy's Blue Angels. I shot this standing at the end of the runway at the Salinas, CA Airport. It was a pretty cool perspective.

The "gallery" can be found here:

The new web site is live.

Very cool shot, John. And yes, you have been absent lately, it was noticeable. Glad to see you back. Were you afraid you might get run over? He isn't quite level in his landing.

This shot is magnificent...looks intense, and it looks like you were lucky to get out of the way in time.
