Oh what fun!
This is a scene at the top of Chew's Ridge at about 5,000 feet with three feet of snow from our recent storms.
I have not shot snow in a long while, we don't get much of that stuff here. All my pictures came out hideously under-exposed. You would not believe what I had to go through to recover them. Thank God for RAW format, Lightroom, Photoshop and the dfine noise reduction plug-in.
Hopefully I've learned a thing or two so I don't have to go to quite this much effort in the future. My brother suggested bracketing and my son suggested +1 f stop when shooting snow. Do believe I will take their advice.

@Seraphine: Thanks, but the +1 is right. If you saw the dark images I was getting you's see why. All that white stuff confuses the hell out of the meter. :)
