Winter Light at Point Lobos

Posted by
Monterey John (Hollister, CA, United States) on 17 February 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

This shot is at the westward end of Point Lobos. The solitary cypress is interesting and in contrast to the thick forest further east and north on the point on the Carmel Bay side.

I am starting a new series tomorrow of Pfeiffer Beach in Big Sur. If I have ever done anything with which I am pleased, this would be it. I have pre-posted 7 images. I hope as many folks as possible to to see and enjoy them with me.

Canon EOS REBEL XT 1/125 second F/9.0 ISO 400 115 mm
