Father and Daughter

On Sunday after Thanksgiving Anita and I took a sail on a tall ship. I saw this father and daughter and could not help myself. I felt like I was intruding, but hey, that's what we do sometimes.

Shot this with my favorite lens, a 100mm macro which allows some distance from the subjects while feeling up close and personal with good clarity..

Sweet moment. Lovely shot.

I will no longer post photos of kids on my site and have decided to pull the ones I had up...I kept finding hit referrals to my other site from a site that sounded a little suspicious. I reported my suspicions about the site to my local authorities and they referred it to Federal authorities. It looks the site is evil and is geared toward can guess. I did not click on the site for fear of what I would see there, but my suspicions have been confirmed. It seems they use innocent photos of children and turn them into something horrible. They were referring their degenerate, depraved, audience back to the original source of the image. I am just sick to my stomach about it.

@Laurie: That is just dreadful. What a world we live in. I'll think on what you have said and probably pull mine too with great sadness. I'll leave this one and the previous one up for a couple days so the aminus 3 gang can enjoy them then pull them down for the reasons you state.

You captured a great moment. I always feel like I'm intruding when I take people pics, so I tend to use a 200 or 300mm, just to feel less conspicuous. Even with a long lens, they often turn away.
