Pt Pinos Light, Pacific Grove, CAPosted by MontereyJohn (Salinas, California, United States) on 3 August 2009 in Architecture and Portfolio. More messing around with software :) I'm finding my old PS (CS2) does not like to save JPGs of images altered with LR2 brushes, so I have taken to saving for the web which does not bring forward the metadata ... oh well. This will have to do. The more I work with Lightroom2 the more impressed I am. This afternoon we had some wonderful soft light over in Pacific Grove. That with LR2 resulted in a pretty good image. This was shot hand held with a Canon Rebel XT with a 70-300mm IS lens at 1/500th (about an f8 if I recall). Clarity is first class and LR2 corrected the exposure, saturation, contrast etc nicely. Thanks for dropping by and sharing in the joy I take in this art of photography. Enjoy your visit, and if you have any comments or useful criticisms, please feel free to share them.
