Lest We Forget - Memorial Day

Posted by MontereyJohn (Salinas, California, United States) on 25 May 2009 in Transportation and Portfolio.

The casualty rates among the men who flew the heavy bombers, like the B-17G pictured here, during World War II were catastrophic, yet they kept going. And because they kept going, and because of all the others who kept going in the wars to preserve our freedom, we are still here and we are still free. Let us remember them all with gratitude.
