Above the Falls at Julia Pfeiffer Burns SP

This may be one of the most over-photographed locations on the Big Sur Coast ... but there could be a reason for that.
I was out there for a late afternoon and sunset, and it was just glorious. I'll put up a few photos from this shoot over the next few days.

Superb photo of a great location, I can see a sign saying Area Closed, is that for the beach? The cove looks a really beautiful spot. Well captured.

The photographers' paradise, for sure. This is beautiful. I love the wet and wetter sections of the sand and of course the gorgeous color in the water. The fresh green in the foreground balances the misty horizon! BRAVO!

Stunning coastline. It reminds me of Corfu, Greece.
It may be over photographed but your image is remarkable. I love the shaded layers of sand and the aqua blue water rushing into the cove.
I would not be able to leave the spot.

I will never tire of seeing photos of Big Sur! Wish I could get out to that coast again. We always wind up in Oregon ( Depoe Bay) and Washington (Seattle). Need to get on the bike and take a road trip down the California coastline.

amazing coastline and lovely natural colours! the view from above really gives a good idea of this place! i like how the colour of the water transitions into deep blue further out to the sea...

What a delightful little cove. Love the colors and even the horizon dissolving into the atmosphere. Much photographed or not, I haven't seen it before. its a lovely photo, thanks for sharing it.
