Above the Falls at Julia Pfeiffer Burns SPPosted by Monterey John (Hollister, CA, United States) on 5 April 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. This may be one of the most over-photographed locations on the Big Sur Coast ... but there could be a reason for that. I was out there for a late afternoon and sunset, and it was just glorious. I'll put up a few photos from this shoot over the next few days. The new web site is live. http://monterey-john-photographer.com/

"Marie" :-) from perth, AustraliaSuperb photo of a great location, I can see a sign saying Area Closed, is that for the beach? The cove looks a really beautiful spot. Well captured. 5 Apr 2009 6:32am Suzanne from Huntington Bch, California, United StatesGorgeous landscape. Excellent perspective. 5 Apr 2009 7:24am Betty from New Jersey, United StatesAmazing colors... the water, the sand, the rocks! I love the wet and wetter sections of the sand and of course the gorgeous color in the water. The fresh green in the foreground balances the misty horizon! BRAVO! 5 Apr 2009 11:59am Jen from Alpharetta, United StatesThat's a beautiful spot! 5 Apr 2009 1:05pm Barbara from Florida, United StatesStunning coastline.
