Fun on the DunesPosted by MontereyJohn (Salinas, California, United States) on 2 January 2008 in People & Portrait and Portfolio. It was just one of those days. Winter on Monterey Bay is windy and brisk. Paragliders were out soaring over the dunes and surf. Tourists and holiday visitors were taking in the scenery. And these girls were enjoying the huge dunes as only young folks can and will. I was using the 70-300mm IS USM lens at 300mm. It gets pretty problematic at that long focal length. Even with a bit of PS sharpening it still is lacking in clarity. But I just liked the image, so here it is.
