Happy New Year All!

I hope we all may try something new in the New Year that stretches us just a bit... well maybe not this much :)

By way of explanation, I shot this from atop a 100' sand dune the day before yesterday. I was looking down on this paraglider. He was not as close to the water as he appears here. The 300mm lens distorts things a bit... to dramatic advantage. Right after I snapped the shutter, he soared up and away on the strong winds blowing on Monterey Bay.
