RAW v. JPEG And the Winner Is...

OK, my son (teaching old dog new tricks?) has convinced me about the utility of RAW. I worked on this gazing ball picture and was impressed with what I could do in RAW. The blue sky, which had been over-exposed white, popped right up. I processed the image in Lightroom and Photoshop, and was well pleased with what I got with minimal work.

At my main site (URL below) you can see more about what I was working with.

Thanks for stopping by and expecially for leaving any comments and/or helpful criticisms.

Anyway, you can see my stuff at my web site(http://montereyjohnphotography.com/) of which I am pathetically proud. I made it all by myself, with a wee bit of help from Yahoo's Sitebuilder. BTW, if you want an inexpensive site and are not inclinded to get all involved with Adobe's Dream Weaver, or any other behemoth program, I hightly recommend Yahoo, though you are free to use third party programs there as well.

Do drop by, pay a visit to the Contact page and leave a comment if you like. (Besides, it REALLY helps with my Google position :)

Thanks!
